The First Map I created! Sensitive is a top-down puzzle game originally made for the Commodore 64 by Oliver Kirwa. I have ported the first 18 levels into Minecraft for your enjoyment!
The object of this game is the clear out all of the Gold and Emerald blocks and make your way to the Diamond blocks (the exit).
This game can get very tricky, be prepared.
How to Play:
1. Select a level.
2. Enjoy!
Things to Note:
1. This game was originally created without the ability to jump or walk diagonally. If you want to keep this as close to the original as possible, refrain from doing these things.
2. If things are not working properly, use the "/kill" command to reset the command blocks. Note, this WILL NOT hinder your progress on the puzzles.
3. Playing in F5 is recommended as this was originally a top down puzzle game, so this will get you as close to the original experience as possible.
Feel free to create and post videos of this map!
This map is not intended for multiplayer, so keep in mind, if you do play this in a multiplayer environment, I cannot guarantee everything will function properly.
Awesome! This is a really creative map, I hope it gets the attention it deserves.
One thing- I opened the map while I was in a level(on accident) and it brought me to spawn. I tried to go back to the level and I kept falling into the void- with no level there.
But great job- you should make a Dev-Com of it on your channel. I would watch it
If it for some reason spawned you on the level floor with no level there, I would use /kill to reset back to the main place, and then select the level again. Not sure why it would have done that though.
Would love to see your video about it wiiwierdo, I tried to recreate it myself but was unable, so if I can see where the problem is starting, I can hopefully fix it for an update.
Alright, here's the video demonstrating the bug. I tried loading level 10 in a fresh map afterwards, the same result occurred for some reason.
Thanks so much for the video. It helped a lot. It took some digging, but what I THINK was happening is that levels 9 and 10 are pretty far away from the start location and I think they were outside of the loaded chunks. I redid the start area and setworldspawn to an area more centrally located so that everything required SHOULD be in a loaded chunk. My own testing shows it is not consistently loading level 10 as opposed to before when it was very sporadic. V1.02 uploaded.
My above statement is what happens if you copy and paste from a Word document. I stated the map doesn't work for me. And a few spelling errors on pages 1&2 of Sensitive.
Am I the only one that the 'reply box' only detects I've typed 25% of the time??
Would like to know what exactly is not working on the map for you so I can see if it is something I can quickly fix. Any details?
Here's my episode 2, in which I have some small troubles with level 10 (not map related, rather brain related). Happy to report that the bug from before is no longer an issue!
Review Summary
Solve 18 puzzles by walking on colored tiles to make them disappear. Based on an old Commodore 64 game of the same name. Primary mechanic is pathfinding (no jumping allowed), which can quite challenging. For the most part, levels get more complex and difficult. Visually, the map is best played with the overhead F5 view, which can be a bit awkward. Unfortunately, Minecraft is not a precision movement/detection game so it can be a bit finnicky, e.g. if you accidentally walk on the edge of blocks or cross diagonally (or if you lag and stand in one place too long). The spawn room feels a bit too large / spread out, but does have texture variety. I played the first version, and the command blocks look to be made in such a way that additional levels can easily be added (maybe even a future level editor).

Thanks RSMalec! There will be more levels added in the near future, and yes, plans are to make a level editor in the future, though I'm trying to figure out some of the aspects of how to do that.
NOTE: All levels so far are replicas from the original Sensitive.

I'll not download it anyways cause i don't really like minecraft minigames.

Great! Glad to see the bug seems to be fixed.
