You grab a blank spellbook (you can only have one, you greedy pig) and go through the portal. Fireball has been permed! You can now use Fireball in any game. The wand falls out of your... pocket? Hands? Backpack? I don't know.

You keep your spell if you bring a blank spellbook with you into the Astral Portal.

To go to the next game, go into the Astral Portal. Going into the portal without any item protectors or blank spellbooks will make you lose all of your items and spells. Going in with item protectors will let you keep your items for the next game. Same with spells and spellbooks. If the portal goes away and you don't go in, you are left behind.

You use a spellbook and an IP and perm your telekinesis and perfectly generic object. That was kind of a waste of an IP, but whatever. Since you've permed your things, into the portal you go. The soda hat drops off your head.
