Well guys, today I was playing minecraft, I played for more than 10 hours on World 2, than while I was playing, I got bluescreened.
So I waited the pc to start again, and went to minecraft, thinking that the world was gonna be there, but when I pressed Singleplayer, BOOM! No world 2 anymore, I was like OH MY GOD! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! and started world 2 again.
I just started, didn't even spent 10 minutes there, quitted the game and went to minecraft's folder, went in Saves and checked what was the weight of world 2. Minecraft shows that World 2 weighs 1.6mb, but windows says that the folder weighs 17mb.
Now what I want to know, is there somehow to get that old world back? I don't need to have the same inventory that I had, I just want that world back, with my constructions, etc, it's just so annoying to start all over again... if there's somehow, please, tell me and I may post the folder here if needed.
ok, so it sounds like it still exists if windows is showing it as 16 mb.. sounds right if you've done a TON of stuff.. what i would suggest is backing up the 16 mb folder, deleting it from the save folder going back and starting world two again and then exit and putting the backed up world two folder in there again and start world two again
edit: also, to anyone else reading this.. BACKUP YOUR SAVES REGULARLY, ive seen plenty of save files lost by computers crashing/rebooting etc.. usually you can get it back by starting it again but im sure theres some cases where its gone forever
Gonna try this in a moment and reply here, one additional thing, that X-Ray that one guy here in the forum made, if I use the World 2, it goes on the OLD world 2 that I played! Maybe it loads a file and minecraft another...
Edit: I just tried this, and no, it doesn't works... anything else?

Hoping for a solution, Maniac.
